"I'm Chris Cornell, i sing like an angel, write songs that will last forever, look like a movie star, but due to all of this life made me sick...this song is called like a stone."
I saw Chris just a few months before he passed, on his Higher Truth tour. Rip Chris, your voice and soul were that of an angel and thank you for letting us hear it.
chris was never a conventional writer or singer he was in fact a prophet a messenger of the most high blessed are we that existed on this rock in certain oblivion in the time of chris cornell his words for those that truly can hear them are holy hymn in light for eternity void of darkness rest in power chris
❤ Lyrics: On a cobweb afternoon In a room full of emptiness By a freeway I confess I was lost in the pages Of a book full of death Reading how we'll die alone And if we're good, we'll lay to rest Anywhere we want to go In your house, I long to be Room by room, patiently I'll wait for you there Like a stone I'll wait for you there Alone And on my deathbed I will pray To the gods and the angels Like a pagan to anyone Who will take me to heaven To a place I recall I was there so long ago The sky was bruised The wine was bled And there you led me on In your house, I long to be Room by room, patiently I'll wait for you there Like a stone I'll wait for you there Alone Alone And on I read Until the day was gone And I sat in regret Of all the things I've done For all that I've blessed And all that I've wronged In dreams until my death I will wander on In your house, I long to be Room by room, patiently I'll wait for you there Like a stone I'll wait for you there Alone Alone
"im Chis Cornell, here's how you're supposed to sing with out holding back" holy crap, this guys was amazing when not trying, but when he laid it like this, no one even comes close. RIP, you were the best of us.
This song reminds me of all the spirits around us all day long everyday or then again maybe maybe it's more or less about us after people die it just makes me think of the people that are gone every time I hear it you know
One of his masterpieces that seems to grab your heart strings and send you in a whirlpool. Music was blessed to have you spread your talent Chris. The day you died I cried most of the night, the rock here in NZ played your music for about 6hrs,then I sobbed for at least a week. Still do. Miss you CC,we all do!!

This song has one thing in common with some other great songs. It plays in the background, it has an ear worm quality, you know most of lyrics. You tap your steering wheel. Then one day you read ALL the lyrics and think it through. And if you are in that headspace, it’s like a key in a lock. It clicks. And it floors you. You realize that you understand something of the legend who wrote it.
So captivating and passionate.

Aquí lo veo tocar sin cejilla. Pero en Internet siempre publican los acordes con cejilla en el tercer traste

Now he is finally in Gods house where he longed to be, on earth he waited like a stone..
I will choose Chris over Kurt everytime.
Why is it always the greats that are taken away?
I wish that I could have taken on some of his anguish so that he could still be with us...
Heroin has inspired and helped artist create some of the most beautiful things on earth.
